Blackberry Pearl (8100) [red]

haha, what do you know, I am using a blackberry again! Who would of though :) The reason for this switch on my business phone is the fact that the phone I was using before (Nokia N75) didn’t sync directly with entourage, it did it by synching entourage with iCal then syncing to the phone. This worked ok going from mac to phone, but the other way around it sucked. So with the addition of the new Pocketmac 4.0.20b that actually works with the new Blackberry 4.2 OS, i am back to blackberry for work….for now…..

+The call quality on this phone is really good.
+ The size of the phone is good also.

- I still completely hate the pearl keyboard, full keyboard is really the way to go.

Not sure about battery life yet……

Xbox 360 Quick Game Review: The Orange Box

Let me start by saying this is by far the greatest value of any Xbox 360 game. You are getting 5 games in one box….The Orange Box that is. I will only focus on the new ones. I purchased this game based on two of the titles; TF2 and Portal. Portal was the first game I played because i was the most intrigued by it. It is a great new way to game. The idea is you have a gun that lets you place entrance and exit portals, so you can use them transport items, as well as yourself. There are tons of possibilities. Secondly the LONG AWAITED Team Fortress 2. When I first saw the trailer of the Cartoon looking characters I cringed! But now that I have the game in my hands and have been playing it, its not the end of the world…although I think I would like Half Life 2 graphics more. Bottom line, the average Xbox 360 game price for 5 games is a great value, even if it were 5 mediocre games, but this is not that, this is 5 great games for the price of one. I would say a solid buy just based on re-playability alone!

Xbox 360 Quick Game Review: Halo3

Well Halo 3 is finally done. The biggest strength of the game is multiplayer, more exact, co-op campaign mode. By far my favorite way to go through a game is with a friend is co-op mode. It adds a lot of value to a game when you can play right along side your friends. Halo 3 however does you one better well two better if you want to get technical, you can co-op with up to 4 people. I was never into Halo or Halo2, so I didn’t care about the “story-line” but for a game it was pretty damn good. My only complaints would be…..well i guess i don’t have any other than the ending was kinda lame. Graphics were beautiful, game-play length was just right, and it has solid replay ability.
